Our Programmes

Three pillars of work — arts and creative development, peacebuilding and dialogue, and cultural reorientation — delivered with and through the communities we serve.

Pillar One

Arts & Creative Development

We invest directly in the people who make the work. The pillar exists because talent in our communities is rarely the missing ingredient — access, equipment, mentorship and a paying audience usually are.

  • Young Artists Fellowship — a [duration] programme of mentorship, stipend and production support for [number] emerging artists a year.
  • Craft & Heritage Studios — workspace, tools and market linkage for traditional weavers, carvers, potters and dyers.
  • Stage & Screen Lab — script development, rehearsal space and equipment loans for theatre and film collectives.
  • Micro-grants — small, fast grants of [amount] for community arts projects.

Who it is for

Artists aged [range] resident in [locations], working in any discipline, with a demonstrated body of work and a project that engages a community beyond themselves.

Applications: [open/closed] — next window [date].

Pillar Two

Peacebuilding & Dialogue

Drama and storytelling let a community rehearse a difficult conversation before it has to have it for real. That is the core of how we approach conflict.

  • Community Dialogue Circles — facilitated, multi-session processes bringing parties in a dispute to a shared table.
  • Theatre for Peace — touring forum theatre where the audience stops the play and changes the outcome.
  • School Peace Clubs — weekly clubs in [number] schools building mediation and civic skills in students.
  • Early Warning Network — trained community monitors who flag rising tension to local response structures.

Pillar Three

Cultural Reorientation

Reorientation is not nostalgia. It is the work of deciding, publicly and together, which inherited values a community wants to carry forward — and making those values visible in daily civic life.

  • Heritage Documentation — recording oral history, songs, proverbs and craft technique with elders, archived and returned to the community.
  • Values in Schools — a curriculum-aligned module on integrity, citizenship and community responsibility.
  • Language Revival — children’s materials and after-school classes in [languages].
  • Festival of Return — an annual public festival of music, masquerade, food and craft.

Culture is how a people remember who they are.

Help us keep that memory alive — support a workshop, sponsor a festival stage, or fund a peace dialogue in a community that needs one.
