Art that heals. Culture that rebuilds.

Tuki Foundation for Arts, Peace & Cultural Reorientation works with young people, artists and communities across Nigeria — using theatre, music, film, craft and dialogue to turn division into understanding and heritage into livelihood.

Who We Are

A foundation built on the belief that culture can do the work of peace.

TFA-PCR was established to respond to a simple observation: where a community loses its shared story, conflict fills the gap. We work at that gap — bringing artists, elders, young people and civic leaders into the same room, and giving them the creative tools to speak to one another again.

Our work spans three connected areas — arts development, peacebuilding and cultural reorientation — delivered through training, community residencies, festivals and grants to grassroots creative groups.

Read Our Story
“We do not teach people to be Nigerian. We create the space where they remember it — and then decide, together, what it should mean next.” — [Founder name], Founder

Vision. A society where the arts are a living instrument of peace, identity and dignity for every community.

Mission. To create, inspire and transform through artistic excellence, cultural education and sustained peacebuilding at the community level.

What We Do

Three pillars, one purpose

Every programme we run sits under one of these pillars — and most of them touch all three.

A

Arts & Creative Development

Training, mentorship and production support for emerging artists in theatre, music, film, visual art and traditional craft — including studio access, small equipment grants and paid performance opportunities.

P

Peacebuilding & Dialogue

Community dialogue circles, conflict-sensitive drama, and youth peace clubs in schools — creating structured, culturally grounded ways for neighbours to work through tension before it escalates.

C

Cultural Reorientation

Heritage documentation, values education in schools, language and folklore revival, and public festivals that put local culture back at the centre of civic life.

Culture is how a people remember who they are.

Help us keep that memory alive — support a workshop, sponsor a festival stage, or fund a peace dialogue in a community that needs one.
